CIPCA is a non-profit and non-governmental organisation (NGO) created in 1971. It has seven regional offices in the cities of El Alto, La Paz, Cochabamba, Camiri, Santa Cruz, Trinidad, Riberalta and Cobija. Among the issues that it supports are: i) Sustainable rural development, ii) Farmers and indigenous organisation, iii) Farming and indigenous economy, iv) Gender, v) Interculturality, vi) Intervention cycles and political action.

CIPCA’s mission is: “To contribute to political, economic and cultural strengthening of farmers and indigenous peoples – men and women. Furthermore, from this perspective, to participate in the construction of a democratic, intercultural, equitable and economically sustainable Bolivia”.
